I'm drawn to emotionally grounded stories. Sometimes that's quiet and naturalistic, sometimes it's stranger or more stylized, but what I care about most is emotional truth. Characters that feel real, even when the world around them is a little uncanny.
I'm a performance-first editor. I'm into the small stuff that carries a scene: the timing, the rhythm, the little choices in a performance that shift what a moment actually means. I like working in the space between tension and tenderness, and finding cuts that feel honest to the character, whether the scene is calm, chaotic, or living in its own world.
I'm a Canadian Film Centre Editors' Lab alumnus and a Canadian Screen Award–nominated editor. My work has screened at festivals around the world, including TIFF, Palm Springs, and Fantasia.
